The sister is married! After months of planning and putting it all together in the weeks before, it was a huge success! This woodland themed wedding was so much fun to help with! From the succulent center pieces to the amazing cake display! Whether you’re planning a wedding or a woodland themed party you will just love these ideas!
Ok first of all the color selection, green and grey. So so easy to put together! The bridesmaids wore grey dresses and the natural elements of the woodland theme brought in the greens. The entrance was lined with tiny pails of baby’s breath and the window was lined with bottles of baby’s breath.
Woodland Themed Wedding Ideas
The cake display was so much fun! The table was covered in moss and surrounded by vines. The cake topper was made by the bride. A slice of wood that had their initials burned onto it. We rented the tree arbor and chandelier.
These woodland themed wedding center pieces were so much fun to put together. We happened to be cutting down a tree a couple weeks before the wedding. So we made several unique center pieces by drilling out holes in the wood and placing succulents and moss in them. We had a different display at all 10 tables! The food table needed a taller center piece so we drilled a bamboo bowl to the top of one of the taller stumps and added a large flower display. You can see more of the center pieces over on Lolly Jane!
The couple decided on a waffle bar (one of their favorite things to make together). There were vanilla and chocolate waffles, flavored syrups, fruit, chocolate and biscoff toppings, and of course whipped cream. We also had bacon on a stick which was a big hit!
Over the next couple of weeks I plan to dive more into each of the woodland themed wedding elements. I’ll show you the details of the center pieces, the cake stand, and the food table.
