It’s November! This is my favorite time of year. Each year I find myself willing Halloween to be over so I can get to the upcoming holidays. This year I am pretty excited to host Thanksgiving and I have been planning table decor for a month already. I love the simplicity of neutral colors and natural elements. Just in case you are hosting Thanksgiving I wanted to share with you some inspiration. My favorite fall table decor ideas.
Fall Table Decor Ideas
Natural element ideas:
- wood slices
- dried wheat
Neutral element ideas:
- place cards
Ways to add small pops of color:
Putting it all together: To pull all of these elements together you want to start with your base. This can be a table runner, a bowl, or a tray. These items will anchor your centerpiece and give you a good base. I then like to add my linear pieces like branches or ribbon. Last you will add your main pieces like pumpkins or squash. This is a good time to add a few pops of color too.
I love that by using natural elements you can not only save money but put these simple table decor ideas together by yourself. We’re expecting 24 guests and plan to have 3-4 tables.
I’m thinking a different theme for each of them. What do you think?

Fall is my favorite time of year and it never last long enough in my opinion. Not that I don’t love Christmas but I would love to have “Fall” last longer than the month of November. This morning we added pumpkin spice to our waffles and I was in heaven. I’m pretty sure heaven will have pumpkin spice waffles.
